Join us for our first ever SQUASH league! This is an 8 week league which will start with a day of pick-up games for those who are new to learn some of the basic rules of the game. The league is open to ALL skill levels, however, weask that you provide your approximate skill level so we can make sure to place you in the right group to start the season.
Depending on how many players register, the league will be set up with groups of 2-3 players per group, and you will play a match vs. each member of your group each week. For groups of 2, it will be a best of 5 games match, for groups of 3, it will be a best of 3 match vs. each of the other 2 members of your group. Depending on the outcome, you will move up or down a box for the following week. This will help facilitate a nice rotation of matches and opponents.
This league is in partnership with Racquet Up Detroit, an inspiring community-based organization with the largest squash facility in the midwest! All matches will be played at their facility in Detroit on Outer Drive between Greenfield and M-10/The Lodge.
If you don't have your own equipment or proper shoes, you can borrow these items on site. Protective eyewear and non-marking, white-bottomed or gum-soled shoes are required.
